Traffic lights out at busy junction

DRIVERS have been urged to take extra care at a busy Colchester junction after the traffic lights broke.

Engineers were called to the junction of Barrack Street and Wimpole Road this morning just after 8am.

These seem to break on a regular basis, but strangely enough, the traffic seems to flow better with them out. People seem to operate fairly, so everybody gets through at a slow speed without problems.

But maybe that´s just luck, as it only takes a couple of idiots trying to pass through at speed to mess that up.

Traffic lights are unnecessary for carefull drivers who drive to the conditions however the idiots rule.
