Burglars operating around Ipswich Road

RESIDENTS around Ipswich Road are being urged to remain vigilant with burglars operating in the area.

Police are appealing for information after a gate was forced and access was gained to a garden shed at the Colchester property, although nothing was stolen.

The incident took place between 4pm on Tuesday and 10am Wednesday.

Anyone with information call PC Karen Mortimer on 101.

The Field Marshal will no doubt be disgusted by this news item, too. One failed burglary of a garden shed is hardly an epidemic.
No doubt there are successful burglaries every day, all over town, so why aren't we told about all those cases as well?
