WILLIAMS & Griffin will unveil its Christmas window display this weekend.

The department store will switch on its lights and reveal the secret window scene at noon on Saturday.

Father Christmas, and his elf, will arrive in style to a count down by the town crier, Robert Needham.

You can then help Santa tear off the paper from the window to reveal what is inside.

A snow machine will help create that Christmas magic outside the store.

The window was a great attraction when I was a child but the last few years it has been very underwhelming. Infact, pretty poor! Please tell me the High Street isnt going to be closed to traffic like last year? Just ridiculous if thats the case.
