Activist calls for Veterans' Champs

A LABOUR activist is calling for councils to have Veterans’ Champions.

Jordan Newell, chairman of the Colchester Labour Party, wants to see all councils recognise a individuals who can speak on behalf of veterans in their area.

He praised Colchester Council’s work so far to support veterans in the borough particularly in housing.

Jordan Newell is no friend of older people. Did he support sheltered housing residents against CBC's contemptuous treatment? No he didn't, because he would never have gone against Obergruppenführer Tim Young.
CBC is steadily reducing sheltered housing at a time when the elderly population is increasing. CBC has done nothing for older people.
