Bricks and projectiles thrown through bus windows

POLICE are investigating attacks on three buses in one night.

At 5.25pm on Tuesday windows on a double decker bus at the Queen Street depot were smashed and CCTV is being examined.

At 6.15pm the number 64 was travelling along John Kent Avenue when suspects threw a brick through the window.

At 7.35pm, outside the Cherry Tree Pub in Mersea Road, a window shattered when projectiles were hurled while the bus was moving at speed.

Remarkably nobody was hurt in any of the incidents.

Anyone with information call Colchester police on 101.
