Thieves steal car and cash in night time burglary
THIEVES stole a car and cash during a burglary.
A red Ford Mondeo was taken from outside a house in Empire Road, Dovercourt, on Tuesday, October 30.
Burglars entered the house through an open conservatory window between 6pm and 11.30pm taking the keys and a two-figure sum of cash.
Forensic examinations were carried out as were house-to-house enquiries.
Investigating officer, Dc Roger Henderson, said: "We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this red Mondeo after 6pm in the local area or those who may have seen any suspicious activity during Tuesday.”
