A TEENAGE driver has been charged with drink driving after crashing into a historic cottage.

The National Trust were today assessing damage to the cottage at Bourne Mill, Colchester, caused during the incident.

No wonder insurance premiums are so high for teenage drivers.

remember we are ALL paying for pillocks like this. Drivers with no accidents all pay a percentage of their premium towards paying for these sort of drivers. If found guilty of drink driving he should be given a lenghty prison sentence instead of just a slap on the wrist which is what normally happens.

And why, I wonder, wasn't he charged with Criminal Damage as well!!

All too often prats like this get away without being charged for damage they commit whilst under the influence.
