AN ARSENAL fan, who at 100 is thought to be their oldest supporter, was guest of honour at the club.

Norman Duncan, of Balkerne Gardens, Colchester, was invited to the Emirates to watch their 1 - 0 victory over QPR on Saturday.

He spent the afternoon with Arsenal’s board members and former players, met manager Arsene Wenger and even appeared on Match of the Day after commentator John Motson picked him out in the crowd.

The trip was organised by son, Pete, to celebrate his centenary year.

As well as meeting Arsenal legends, such as Tony Adams, Mr Duncan was presented with a letter from club manager, Mr Wenger, congratulating him on turning 100 years-old on October 11.

Full details, some of Mr Duncan's Arsenal memories and more pictures in Tuesday's Gazette.
