Motorists caught in delays following crash on A12

MOTORISTS were caught in long delays following a collision on the A12.
Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway at about 5pm on Friday.
The multi-vehicle collision left the road blocked between Stratford St Mary and Ardleigh.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said one person was taken to Colchester General Hospital suffering from minor injuries.
Essex County Council's traffic control centre said motorists faced delays of up to 20 minutes.
