Olympic exhibition comes to north Essex next year

AN OLYMPIC collection of things representing Essex will visit the north of the county next year.

Following on from the Sparks will Fly cultural celebration which came to the county during the summer of sport, a travelling exhibition of all the glass beads collected by the champions will go on display.

Each of the districts and boroughs visited by Essex County Council Olympic mascots Marina and Boreas were given a clear bead to fill with things which best represented the area in which they lived.

  • The exhibition comes to Braintree library from July 30 to August 27, Colchester library from August 27 to September 24 and Clacton and Harwich libraries between September 24 and October 22.
