When prison governor Paul Jagger decided to decorate his desert island-inspired ice cream roll with a woman in a bikini, it all seemed perfectly innocent.

But on the innuendo-packed Great British Bake Off, it quickly descended into sugary salaciousness.

Presenters Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc were fascinated watching the 49-year-old from Swansea sculpting the sunbathing beauty out of icing.

Sue remarked: “I’ve never watched a man, particularly of your stature, turn a calf quite the way you turned that,” to which Paul replied: “Killer hands!”

But it was the pink bikini that caused the real drama, when Mel spotted that Paul was leaving his lovely lady somewhat exposed, by simply placing a pink triangle over her lower portions.

Mel gasped: “You need a gusset Paul! We can’t have her going out on the beach like that, she’ll get arrested.”

But Paul’s attempts at adding a gusset to his swimwear creation only made things worse, as dangling between her legs it looked like something quite different altogether – prompting fits of giggles from Mel.

“That’s bad!” admitted Paul.

Eventually Paul managed to cover up her modesty with a suitable gusset.

“That’s much better!” remarked Mel. “Legs together. That’s all good, all encased, all safe.”

“Now let’s turn her over and see what’s happening at the back!” teased Sue.

Ian Cumming also had a desert island theme to his tropical flavoured ice cream roll, and Mel was most impressed by the chocolate nuts dangling from him palm tree.

We love it when Bake Off gets smutty…
