Jurassic World have finally unveiled the ferocious genetically-modified dinosaur created for the new movie.
After a series of teasers the full trailer for the fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise has finally been unveiled – and it does not disappoint.
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard star in the latest of Steven Spielberg’s dinosaur franchise, which comes 22 years after the first film, and sees scientists experimenting with genetic modification to breed a whole new dinosaur – the Indominus Rex.
And the new trailer shows their experimentation gets the better of them, as the new beast gets out of control and causes chaos in the dinosaur theme park – as the Jurassic creatures begin to turn not just on the staff and visitors – but on each other.
Little glimpses of the Indominus Rex are teased throughout the trailer – foot here, a tail there – but at the end we see the huge dinosaur in full – the size of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, but fast and lithe, with horns studding its head and back.
Jurassic World - which also stars Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer and Omar Sy – sees the team returning to Isla Nublar, where billionaire John Hammond’s dream of an island theme park with living dinosaur attractions has finally become reality, under the Patel Corporation.
The film – shot in Hawaii and New Orleans last year and directed by Colin Trevorrow – will open in UK cinemas on June 12.
