One of the country’s leading folk duos will be headlining the Acousticity music club in Colchester.
Megson are a popular favourite on the folk and roots scene, and will be performing material from their successful albums.
The couple will be performing as part of Acousticity after selling out on their exclusive tour and being nominated for best duo in 2009 and 2010.
Consisting of husband-and-wife musicians Stu and Debbie Hanna, and originally from Teesside, they first met when both were singing in the local Cleveland Youth Choir.
As they have just had a child, the duo have handpicked a selection of gigs this year, so it’s a bit of a coup that Acousticity is one of them.
Also appearing are exciting newcomer Jess Morgan and stalwart of the acoustic scene, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bernard Hoskin.
They play the Headgate Theatre, in Chapel Street North, Colchester, tomorrow from 7.45pm.
