The alternative blues explosion that is Dave Arcari makes a welcome return to Colchester.
After a busy summer playing festival and club dates across Europe, Dave has just finished work on a new album, to be released on French record label Dixiefrog, early next year.
Over the past 18 months, he has performed at some of the UK’s biggest festivals, including Glastonbury.
Showcased over six CD releases to date, Dave’s national guitar-driven blues owes as much to trash country, punk and rockabilly as it does pre-war Delta blues.
He plays the Colchester Arts Centre on Tuesday, when special guests will be Colchester blues band Hokie Joint, who have shared the
bill with Dave at a number of European festivals over the past couple of years.
Doors open at 8pm, with tickets, priced at £10 and £8 for concessions, available in advance on 01206 500900.
