Top performers from Spicerhaart are being whisked away on a trip of a lifetime to Abu Dhabi after winning awards.
The UK’s largest independent estate agency group Spicerhaart, which has its head office in Colchester, held its annual conference and awards ceremony in London.
Among the high flyers to receive accolades was Daryl Parr, branch manager at Chewton Rose in Colchester, the brand’s branch of the year.
Patrick Forrester, from the town’s Haart branch, scooped the title of top negotiator.
Head office-based Lynn Carpenter and Gemma Ealden were awarded top sales and lettings negotiators respectively.
Gwyn Gittens, divisional sales director for Spicerhaart East, was named top divisional sales director and group IT director Steve Lamb was recognised for his quiet determination in steering the firm’s Magic Moments children’s charity which has to date raised more than £1 million.
The awards were presented by TV presenter Gabby Logan and comedian Lenny Henry at a glittering ceremony.
In addition to the awards, the winners will alway get a trip of a lifetime to Abu Dhabi.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Spicerhaart, said: “These awards recognise the best in our business and the best in the country.
“Everyone was so excited when we announced the winners were off to Abu Dhabi.
“They also have another incentive to do well – next year’s award ceremony will be in New York.”
