Cousins pens new contract
Colchester United goalkeeper Mark Cousins has signed a new contract with the club.
The young keeper played the role of understudy to first-choice keeper Dean Gerken for the majority of last season, following Aidan Davison's injury problems.
And he has now pledged his future to the U's by putting pen to paper on another year.
Cousins told the club's website: "I am very happy to be signing and to get another year.
"Hopefully I will be able to push on even more next season and push Deano for the number one shirt."
